Check prohibited the pixel art animation in parkour platformer Jesus Christ

Starsoft Entertainment shared an in-depth take its upcoming activeness-platformer Redeemer at the Upcoming Games Show today, showcasing combat, campaign, and story in a gorgeous two-dimensional fantasy world torn between the Chosen and the Down. You can watch the full developer presentation above or on YouTube.

Arcadia, where Savior is set, is separated between the worshippers of a millennia-old deity, and those who dare to ask questions. Doubters are banished to the depths, which actually isn't Eastern Samoa bad A it sounds—it turns out they'Ra doing bad well for themselves down in that respect. But now, somehow, things have revive a promontory: The Chosen and the Fallen have been divided for too long, and IT's upwards to you to reunite them.

The narrative sounds interesting, but trend and fight are the real meat of the affair hither. To my eye Savior looks ilk Prince of Persia, but director Weston Tracy says in the video recording that IT's primarily inspired aside Bif-Out!!, a boxing game for the NES. Characters can fall upon, parry, and dodge, and while you'll be able to button-mash your way through the advance stages, equally you get deeper into it you'll need to learn patterns and tells in order of magnitude to effectively deal with enemies. They'll set about to surround you when attacking in groups, "and it's prizewinning non to let them," Tracy warns.

Character movement also looks great, as it enhances traditional side-scroller running and jump with parkour-style moves. It's wax-coated, fluent, and really quite pretty in its own perpendicular.

The Savior listing happening Steam doesn't presently have a release date, but Tracy says in the video recording that Starsoft hopes to have it out onetime in winter 2022. In the in the meantime, you terminate find out much about it at starsoft.com. Oh, and even though it doesn't show up in the trailer, yes, you can ride the dragon.
